Today Mark is a Branch Manager with BMO in PG. He regularly hires UNBC graduates, and is a vocal supporter of the positive impact both UNBC and CNC have had on Prince George.

With 10,000 students in a city of 77,000 Prince George truly is a college and university town providing students post-secondary opportunities across the spectrum certificates through to PhD programs.

Just ten years after graduating its first class, the University of Northern BC has become one of the top small universities in Canada and leads in the amount of research dollars it brings into the community every year, fueling knowledge and innovation. The breathtaking architecture of the campus is only surpassed by the quality of education that occurs within.

Prince George has also been home to College of New Caledonia for 30 years. CNC offers students a range of programs and has recently opened the new John Brink Trades and Technology Centre aimed at addressing skills shortages.

While the campuses provide excellent teaching, research programs and residential living options, Prince George compliments this with student-friendly services in its beautiful British Columbian backdrop.

Mark Stafford was born and raised in Prince George, and knew his future would become brighter if he pursed post-secondary education. The first business class graduated from UNBC in 1996, and Mark was part of it. With a B.Comm he furthered a career in banking while also staying involved with the UNBC Alumni Association.
